Count Vladimir Dracul never suspected that the human he found hiding in his stables would change his life and the way he saw the world. But once he found Béla, Vlad couldn’t give him up. 5 SHOOTING STARS: “Beautiful Béla by Stormy Glenn and Lynn Hagen is a new take on vampires and humans. I liked the twists and turns this book had for me.  Vlad is a kind hearted but tough as nails vampire.  Béla doesn’t even have a name when we meet him. Vlad gives him this name. But it fits him to a tee.  I really appreciate getting to know the vampire hierarchy and politics. That really helped this story along. There is plenty of hot man love too to keep me turning the pages. I really am looking forward to more from this series I think a certain vampire named Igoran needs a story next.  He sure would need a mate who could keep up with him.  Whoever finds love next I cannot wait for the next book in the Phanta City series. 4.5 STARS: "This is a tongue-in-cheek play on names romance. We have Vlad Dracul, Bela his lover, Igorian his assistant, Thyr a panther shifter, an enemy named Helpsing, two big bodyguards named Frank and Ken Stein… you get the idea! It is a super sweet case of insta-love for Vlad who brings in the helpless Bela who only knows his own name as Boy. Bela/Boy was held captive by another evil vampire as a pet and when Bela escaped he found Vlad to be a warm set of welcoming arms. Now what I love about this story is Bela. Bela doesn’t apparently speak the language so Bela refers to Bela as Bela and has a stilted vocabulary and understanding of the world. (Some of this doesn’t make any sense given Bela’s time in captivity but it makes for a really hysterical set of dialog between Bela and everyone else.)It’s very sweet and super funny and has some hot smexy times! So if you’re looking for something ridiculously light and a fun read – give this one a go!" Morgan Skye, Open Skye Book Reviews
