Pacific Cove 2 |
When
Joseph and Samuel Lake spotted their mate while running through the woods,
they knew they couldn't leave without him. They had been looking for him their
entire lives. But, convincing the gorgeous man that they wanted him was
turning out to be a lot harder than finding him.
Matthew Brooks knew he wasn't the world's best catch. He was a little more
plump than he would have liked and had a very boring life as a paralegal.
Finding two men that seemed to be interested in him at the same time thrust
him firmly into fantasy land.
When
someone starts coming after Matt, getting him to Pacific Cove seems like the
safest idea, but to do that, they will have to explain to the man about bear
shifters and mates and all that entails...and that might cause them to lose
their mate faster than an assassin's bullet. |

"This second
book in the ‘Pacific Cove’ series was as entertaining and fun as the
first. Abe and Ben’s next younger brothers, Joe and Sam, are surprised
to find their human mate, but even better, he smells like honey. And
what could be better than that in a bear’s world? It made me smile from
the start, and even though these three guys have some issues once they
decide to get together, including an a**hole enemy, the tone of this
book is light enough to make it really enjoyable. And in case you are
wondering, there is no twincest involved, just the loving sharing of a
human who needs as much protection and love as he can get... If you like
protective and somewhat bumbling bear shifters who mean well, if a human
who discovers he is perfect just the way he is appeals to you, and if
you’re looking for a read full of hilarity, protective mates, and lots
of loving, then you will probably like this fun novella." -- Serena
