4.5 STARS: "I love this series! Each book is it’s own story but builds on a common thread so I recommend reading them all in order. The premise is an Alpha knows his mate by the distinct lack of scent. A complication to be sure. In the first few books this is figured out by the first few couples and now – though more thoroughly understood it’s still difficult to manage. Silene is one of the many sons the last crazy Alpha made and he is a great character. He’s fun, flouncy and flirty, but has a will of steel and a wicked-strong tiger to match.
